The Wind of Change

In early April, the Vice-governor of the Uburkhangai Aimag (the main administrative-territorial unit) of Mongolia, the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the cultural adviser of the Russian House in Ulaanbaatar and representatives of the Rossotrudnichestvo of Mongolia visited the plant. The purpose of the visit was the interest in our wind turbines. And it is not surprising, because at present this region is experiencing a shortage of electricity, and the solution using wind generation complexes turned out to be very useful for them.

Mongolia today can rightfully be considered a land of sun and wind: for more than two hundred days a year the weather is clear here, a strong wind blows all year round. Due to this, the country has a significant potential for the development of "green" energy, the dominant direction of which is wind energy.

In addition, there are many settlements with a population of up to 2000 people on the territory of Mongolia, where there is no coverage by centralized energy networks, which corresponds to the ideology of using TeRUS stations.

The specialists of OKB MICRON working on the TVG project inspired our foreign friends to purchase wind generation complexes and were invited to Mongolia to assess the natural conditions and terrain of the region on the spot.electricity, and the solution using wind generation complexes turned out to be very useful for them.
