In June, the filming crew of the federal TV channel NTV became interested in the FVTS autonomous heat and wind generator. The journalists of the author's program «Miracle of Technology», which covers scientific technologies that are changing the world on a weekly basis, paid special attention to the innovative installation that has the potential to make a breakthrough in alternative energy.
The filming crew visited the production facilities of the «OKB MIKRON» company and got acquainted with the company's products and the latest innovative developments. In the story, the journalists told the viewer about the advantages and prospects of the wind turbine, the stages of development, and showed a model of the wind turbine, as well as ready-made components and parts of the thermal wind generator. In an interview with the guests, the CEO explained the features of the project:
«A classic wind turbine does not generate energy when there is no wind; instead, it consumes energy. In our case, if there is no wind, we can get heat from a battery with a capacity of 60 cubic meters of boiling water, which provides heat for 10 days», — Dmitry Salov, CEO of «OKB MIKRON», told reporters.
The main components and parts of the thermal wind generator are currently being manufactured, and welding work has begun on the lower structure of the installation. Stamps for the production of blades are also being developed.
